This is a client quilt for Stacie. She used Carolyn Friedlander's Botanics fabrics to make this Marcelle Medallion. The pattern can be found in Alexia Abegg's book, Liberty Love: 25 Projects to Quilt & Sew Featuring Liberty of London Fabrics
She let me have free reign on the quilting and I had a lot of fun planning different quilting designs for each border of the quilt.
I especially like the flames in the orange triangles of the center star.
There were no tall people here to help with the photos so this is the best you get for a full shot.
I'm officially a longarm quilter for hire now. I've done a few quilts for friends before, and now I'm taking in quilts from others. Email me if you are interested.
