Look at this!!! I love the new "widescreen" fabric from Carolyn Friedlander. Robert Kaufman sent me some to try out on a couple of quilts I'm making. This fabric is 108 inches wide! It fits nicely on the longarm and allows for quilt backings with no seams. I plan to quilt two smaller quilts side by side on this yardage. That will save me a little set up time between the quilts and still no seams on the back! This is HUGE, people. (did you get the double meaning there?) HUGE, I tell you. I love this yarrow color too. I plan to buy a bolt of it so I'll have it on hand if anyone wants me to use it for backing a quilt I'll be quilting for them.
Robert Kaufman also sent me fat quarters of the Botanics line by Carolyn Friedlander.
Aren't they great looking? I can hardly wait to cut into them.
