Yesterday I had a super fun shopping trip to Pink Castle Fabrics. I'll be taking Rae's Washi Dress bodice fitting class in a couple of weeks and I wanted to get some fabric for that.
P went along with me and picked out a couple of things - pink Garden by Riley Blake for a dress and the Little Red print by Kokka for a back to school bag or two. I love all those Kokka linens.
I chose the Kaffe shot cotton in blue and green (on the left below) for my tunic and a few other fabrics just for fun. You gotta love those Melody Miller prints.
I also put together a blogger bundle while I was there. I think I was really feeling that 1970's orange and pink vibe. Maybe I was hungry for some raspberry or citrus sherbet, or some swiss chard. I really like this fabric combination.
The bundle includes fabrics from Tula Pink, Denyse Schmidt, Joel Dewberry, Violet Craft, Sandi Henderson, and some of the new Kona colors.
I think these will make a really groovy quilt. Miss P has already mentioned that she might like to have it! It is a good thing when a finished quilt has a waiting home.
You can purchase your own "Swiss Chard" fat quarter bundle of these fabrics from Brenda at Pink Castle Fabrics.
