Since it is Wednesday I was going to post this as a Wordless Wednesday picture but then I thought I should share a little about it.
I got these two towers of Kona solids as a little reward for myself for surviving a second high school graduation and both of the boys moving out for college this year. I figure I'll have a little more time this fall to use them since I won't have the after school schedule of a high schooler to keep up with!
I had been seeing these towers of goodness around the web for a while and never could actually get my hands on any. Then, last spring I joined the Ann Arbor Modern Quilters. Brenda, our president owns a quilt shop in her basement! I asked her about these fabulous towers of color and she said she could get them for me! SCORE!
Pink Castle Fabrics - check it out. If you have been looking for these Kona solid bundles ask Brenda she can get them for you!! She has some other great fabrics in her shop too. I have my eye on the High Society and Folk Life bundles but I'll have to wait a while to get those. Remember that stashpact I made? Only solid fabric purchases are allowed this year and so far I have stuck with that.
Go check out Pink Castle Fabrics you won't be sorry. I looks like she has a sale going on
These Pretty in Pink and Poseidon bundles have been patiently waiting in the sewing room all summer. Today they are getting tossed in the wash and packed in my suitcase for retreat next week.
Yes, you heard that right. Next week is Quilt Retreat Week!!!
Now, wasn't that better than a wordless post?
